I Googled Coffee's, Lynchburg, VA and found your site. My husband and I attended LC in the early 70's and frequented Coffee's. The Wednesday night special...burger, fries and soda was .59. One order per customer and the place was always packed. I'm glad to see it's still going and wish the Corner Cafe much success.

Hey ,
This is Steve. I was playing guitar at the Family Reunion with my sidekick Adam Banjo( Kincade). Adam and I have played together in the past as a group but have since fallen apart due to scheduling conflicts with two other members of the band. I presently play with a group called Mongrel (please look up mongrel in the dictionary). We basically play old rock, country, rag etc. ;o}~ acoustically. I plan on coming by to look at your venue tomorrow. Maybe we can work out something...???

Just came back from having lunch. This was my first visit. Nice place. You guys really did a nice job getting everything together. The Battered Mushrooms were delicious!!!! I had the Philly Cheese Steak and fries also. Very tasty. Almost too good, I'm miserable!! Definetly have plans on coming back. Great job!!

Great food for a reasonable price and you never go home hungry. I love the cheesecake even if I have to box it up and take it home to eat later. My favorite place to eat when I visit Lynchburg. Fast,friendly service from a awesome group of people.

we are looking for a place to house this show:
FRIDAY, JANUARY 19th
- the late virginia summers
- northern valentine (from philly)
- pd wilder (from texas)
we are looking at each group pulling off a 30 minute set. it would be great to play this "new" venue...all three groups are instrumental in nature, & would provide a rather spacey ambience to the evening. understanding that this is the weekend before students get back, we are only asking to play for the door (we would like to ask a $3 cover to provide the travelling groups a tank of gas). in previous shows at the drowsy poet, TLVS has brought a couple dozen people out...i hope that is the size crowd you could be OK with...we are all about finding a way to succeed with the venue, rather than in spite of it.
all that to say, we are super eager to get this show confirmed in town. we will do pretty much whatever you ask of us to make it happen...
